Your qualifications
· Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Quality Engineering or related scientific discipline or equivalent work experience * 5 years quality engineering experience in lean manufacturing environment(s), preferably aerospace or defense electronics * Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100, background in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is desired, CQE qualification * Effective communication skills * Extensive experience managing customer relationships, audits and quality systems * Continuous improvement mindset * Full working knowledge, understanding, and application of all ISO9001 and ASO9100 systems
Your area of activity
Job Purpose:* Provide support to all departments in Quality related issues in addition to the establishment, administration and continuous improvement of an effective quality system and quality programs.
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing; job shop experience a plus. Multiple job runs as one time; accountability for quality is key to this role. Someone that knows quality standards; follows protocol and can stand behind their determinations. This is a hands-on job – not office environment.Responsibilities:Provides statistical information for quality improvement by gathering data on trends and root cause analysis * Interface effectively with customers, suppliers and internal departments (i.e. engineering, production, sales) * Support customers and internal departments to solve quality-related concerns; work in team environment to solve manufacturing/process problems * Leads root cause analysis efforts and works with internal departments to develop and implement robust effective corrective/preventative action plan * Participate in product design and process development projects and programs as the quality representative * Development and documentation of internal policies and procedures * Initiate, develop, document, enforce internal policies and procedures, incl. Quality Manual and other related materials * Administer and manage ISO and AS9100 requirements as well as internal QA system, incl. facilitating internal and external audits (ISO)
