Who am I?
You will be shown an example of a PowerPoint presentation where you have to guess the name of the person from the clues given.
You then have to create a PowerPoint presentation of your own about a person or character of your choice.
You will have to do the following:
Create a storyboard for presentation
Find information from sources including the Internet
Add text and graphics to slides
Create hyperlinks between slides and to the Internet
Animate your presentation
Create an appropriate background for your presentation
Add an appropriate slide transition to your presentation
Test finished presentation to show that all the hyperlinks work
Show your presentation to students in the group
Making a start
What or who is going to be your mystery person?
Sketch a storyboard for your presentation
(Ask your teacher for a copy of the storyboard for the Melvin Burgess presentation)
Create the WHOLE of your storyboard layout in PowerPoint
Find the information for your mystery person, this can include
text and graphics and
information from the Internet
Add the information to your slides by:
Typing in or Copying and pasting from the Internet or Inserting from clipart or digital photographs
Link your slides together as shown in your storyboard using Inset hyperlink
Test your links by running your presentation
Animate your presentation using Custom Animation, adding sound as you see fit
Experiment with slide backgrounds to enhance your presentation but not to obscure your message
Add a Slide Transition if you think it is needed
Test, test, test until you are happy that it works…..
