- IS TALKING DIRECTLY TO JESUS WRONG?
Although our prayers are to be addressed to God, in the name of Jesus, it is not wrong to personally address Jesus in our prayers. Stephen, when he was dying, addressed his prayer to Jesus (Acts 7:59-60). Jesus told His disciples, "you may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it" (Jn. 14:14). That surely implies that the petition is made to Jesus (Gospel Minutes).
