THE GOLF COLUMN – IN REVIEW!
I am gratified that every once in a while someone will ask me to write an article about some pet subject of theirs. When I mention that I had previously covered that topic in earlier issues of the Village Voice they just shrug their shoulders and respond with “do you think that we have kept all those old copies of the Voice?” Well I’ll tell you how you can get a look at all those older copies (including the Golf Column, and the one you may want to look at for a specific article). I have approached this column with the following steps to take:
1. Review the list of golfing article topics from the list below until you find one that you want to (re)read. Then CTR-Click (depress the CONTROL key on the keyboard while you left click on the mouse) to display the topic in question. That will take you directly to the specific page of the golf article that you were looking for.
2. When you arrive at the page listed, click on the double diagonal arrows icon at the bottom of the page to change the format of the page. This will allow you to; a) scroll over the two pages displayed, and b) roll the mouse roller to enlarge the section on the screen. You can also move to another page to continue reading the article if it overlaps onto the following pages.
3. Of course you may also be interested in other topics in that issue so you can scroll through the series of icons at the lower part of the page.
4. When you have completed your review of the article, simply click on the small “x” at the top center of the screen to display the normal search tool bar and you can now delete the displayed page by clicking on the small x in the top tool bar. You should be back at the golf club web page.
The reason I have taken this approach is to encourage our readers to use the relatively recent OCEANHILLSCOUNTRYCLUB.COM web page, where you started, and then the Ocean Hills Golf Club web site where you will select the “Read previous articles of the OHGC GOLF COLUMN” link.
