The Glei Junior Achievement Trophy

THE GLEI JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT TROPHY

Donated in 2005 by Jill & Jenny Glei for the Durham Kennel Club Junior Member who has trained, exhibited and earned titles on a dog(s) owned or co-owned by them during the Awards calendar year. This will be decided based on a point system.

Points are awarded for the titles earned on a dog and are ranked according to how many titles are allowed in each venue. If there is a tie, the trophy will be awarded to the Junior who has earned the greater number of placements. If there is still a tie, then the highest ranking placements will be used to determine the winner. If there is still a tie, then the trophy will be awarded to the Junior who, in the opinion of the Awards Committee, has displayed the most outstanding show record.

PLEASE PRINT! A copy of the AKC show record must be provided for each dog that you are using on the application for this trophy. Send in the records with the application.

Titles earned for venues not listed here (field trials, coon hunting & etc.) will be addressed by the Awards Committee if a dog earns them. Please add any AKC titles earned! Don’t leave them off, because they are not on this form. Additional venues will be added if/when they become AKC events.

Titles such as UDX2, 3, 4 & etc., RAE2, 3, 4 & etc. and MACH2, 3, 4 & etc. will count as their respective “1” award….Example UDX equals 4 points…if that dog earns a UDX2 that would give 4 points. If UDX and UDX2 earned in the same year; 8 points would be earned.
