The High Court is pleased to promote temporarily the following Officers from Grade – II to Grade – I of the Assam Judicial Service on ad-hoc basis in usual scale of pay plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules until further order solely for the purpose of their appointment as Additional District and Sessions Judges of the Fast Track Courts sanctioned/ created by the Govt. of Assam vide letters No. JDJ(E) 22/2001/15; dated 27-03-2001 and JDJ(E) 22/2002/40; dated 11-02-2002 and established vide Notification No. JDJ(E) 22/2001/22; dated 02-04-2001 and No. JDJ(E) 22/2001/41; dated 14-02-2001. Such appointment shall not amount to their regular promotion. On expiry of term of the scheme of the Fast Track Courts (ad-hoc) under the award of the 11th Finance Commission, they will be repatriated to their parent cadre in the Assam Judicial Service, unless promoted regularly in the meantime. The ad-hoc promotion of the Officers will take effect from the date of assuming charge in the Fast Track Courts:-
