*The Optical Internetworking Forum communicates to its member companies by E-mail.
Members of the OIF must act in accordance with the OIF Bylaws, Intellectual Property Rights Policy, Anti Trust Guidelines, Technical Committee Operating Procedures, and other policies and procedures adopted by the OIF Membership or Board of Directors. Submission of this membership application is acknowledgement of receipt of the key charter documents and the key policies, and signifies that the applicant for OIF Membership agrees, upon becoming a member of the OIF, to at all times act in accordance with such documents, and to fully support and abide by the policies, as such are modified from time to time.
Membership for all classes is valid through the end of the membership year in which the application is received. Membership year runs June 1 - May31. Membership dues are pro-rated on a quarterly basis
Principal Membership$ 9,500 USD
Small Business Membership$ 4,900 USD
* Estimated Revenue of $10,000,000.00 or under per year.
Must provide sufficient evidence that your company meets the qualification for Small Business Membership by submitting a statement on company letterhead from a company director representative stating that annual revenues are $10,000,000.00 or less.
Auditing Membership $ 3,500 USD

PRINCIPAL and SMALL BUSINESSMEMBERSHIP
Principal and Small Business Membership in the Optical Internetworking Forum entitles the member company to attend all annual, general and special meetings of the Forum, as well as all Technical and Market Awareness & Education committee meetings of the Forum. Principal Members are entitled to:
- committee meeting attendance
(Meeting Attendance Fee Policy - Principal Members: Two attendees free of charge; Small Business Principal Members: One attendee free of charge. Each additional meeting attendee and on-site/late registrants will be charged $250.00 USD).
- one vote on all Forum issues
- access to all working documents and meeting minutes and e-mail exploders
- run for Board of Director, Committee officer and Technical Committee Working Chair positions
- submit Technical Committee and Marketing Committee contributions
- participate in Interoperability Demonstrations
- attend workshops and “OIF Day” events

AUDITING MEMBERSHIP
Auditing members may access the member's side of the web site and attend the OIF Annual Meeting.
To become a member of the Optical Internetworking Forum:
- Complete and submit membership application.
- Remit payment to the Optical Internetworking Forum in US currency.
Please note: Dues to OIF are not deductible as a charitable contribution, but may be deductible as an ordinary business expense.
