Drop Off and Pick Up

Times:

Camper Drop Off and Sign In: 9:00 a.m.

Camper Pick Up and Sign Out: 3:30 p.m.

Absences or Early Departures:
In the event that a camper needs to leave camp early, parents/legal guardians should inform the church in the morning at the sign in desk. A Kintail staff member will help your child get ready and meet you downstairs at the opening of the gymnasium (the drop off/pick up location) and the parents/legal guardians will be required to sign out their camper.
If you know that your child will be missing a day of camp, it is your responsibility to contact the church so we know that your child will not be coming for the day.

Sign In and Sign Out

Procedure:
To ensure their safety all campers must be signed in at the time of drop off and signed out at the time of pick up by a parent/legal guardian. If your child(ren) will be picked up by someone else, we ask that you mark this information down on the first day. Please have your child(ren) arrive with sunscreen already applied and wearing a sunhat.

Allergies and Restrictions

Kintail on the Road is a peanut and nut free camp.

Though we ask all campers to refrain from bringing nut products to camp, our facility is an open centre and it cannot be guaranteed that there will be no exposure to nut products while at camp. Those campers with a peanut or other food allergy are strongly encouraged not to share or trade packed lunch or snack items.

If your child had as medication that must be with them at all times(EpiPen, inhaler, etc.), please ensure that they have a way to carry it with them at all times during camp.

What to Wear and What Not to Bring

Camper Dress Code:

All campers are encouraged to wear shoes that they can run in and clothes in which they can move freely. Campers should be prepared for physical activity and ensure that they have appropriate foot wear for their recreation breaks. Please send your child to camp already wearing sunscreen and a hat.

Lost and Found:
All lost and found items will be kept at the church. We will display these items Friday during our closing worship time together. If your child has lost something during camp, please contact the office at 519-524-7512 or email at so we let you know if we have found it.

We strongly recommend that any valuables be left at home. Campers who bring valuables of any kind to camp do so at their own risk. Knox Goderich is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft of personal items brought to camp. Please refrain from bringing electronics to camp, as we would like for children to be fully involved in programming.
