NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

THE FEDERAL RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM COMMITTEE

Public Notice is hereby given in accordance with Title 29, Section 10004 of theDel. C., as amended, and 29 Del. C. §5005(11),as amended,and in accordance with § 51 of the FY2015 Capital Appropriations Act (HB No. 425) that the Federal Research and Development Matching Grant Program (Committee) with the Delaware Economic Development Office, as the administrator of the Committee,will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, September16, 2015 at 2:00P.M. in the Main Conference Room at the Delaware Economic Development Office, 99 Kings Highway, Dover, Delaware 19901.

The public meeting will address the matters and applications described below for proposed grants from the Committee as described in § 51 of the FY2015 Capital Appropriations Act (HB No. 425) in connection with the proposed projects supporting federal research and development grants to Delaware institutions.

The public is invited to attend and participate in the meeting. In advance of the meeting, additional information concerning the matters and applications to be considered at the meeting may be obtained from, and written comments may be submitted to, the Committee in care of the Delaware Economic Development Office, 99 Kings Highway, Dover, Delaware 19901, (302) 739-4271.

The agenda for the hearing, which is subject to change, is as follows:

Review of applications submitted to the participating Colleges and Universities for consideration under the program.

Award of grants pursuant to§ 51 of the FY2015 Capital Appropriations Act (HB No. 425) in connection with the proposed projects supporting federal research and development grants to Delaware institutions.

Other business that may require the attention of the Committee in the performance of its duties.

The Committee reserves the right to conduct a part of the meeting in one or more executive sessions closed to the public for the purpose of discussing information that is not public within the meaning of Section 10002 of the Delaware Code.
