Fr. Mitchell Guidry and Rev. Jeff DeBlanc for coming to pray over Matt and comforting our family. Thank you both, along with Fr. Frances Butler, for the beautiful mass which celebrated his life. Thank you also Keith Landry and Matt’s cousins Logan, Kellie, Justin, and Danielle for participating in the mass along with the Eucharistic ministers.
Frank and Angela Vautrot for everything you did for us. You made it possible to concentrate on Matt without worrying about anything else.
Travis and Alison Matte and the Kingpin Family for being with us, the stories you told that made us laugh, the beautiful pictures you gave us and the music you provided. We wanted it to be a celebration and it truly was.
To all the local radio stations for asking for prayers for Matt and out family and for all the beautiful tributes and dedications played over the air waves.
Christine and Jeremy Larcade for the slide show you put together so quickly. It was a beautiful tribute to his life.
Guidry’s Funeral Home – Robert, Benny and Staff for putting everything together.
The Church Point Police Department, Acadia Parish Sheriff Department and the Church Point Volunteer Fire Department for providing the escort for Matt’s funeral.
Finally, we would like to thank everyone who came and sat with us at the hospital, funeral or home and prayed with us or for us, sent flowers, food, mass intentions, gifts, cards or just thought about us. “Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much, whatever the part.”
Sincerely,
The Cormier Family
