2015 Summer Plans, Trips, Activities
June 1 – St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Game
*Who: Kids in Kindergarten thru 5th grade (younger with a parent)
Leave Time: 4:30pm Approximate Return Time: 11:30pm
Bring: hat, glove, snacks for the bus and money for food, etc in the ballpark
Cost: $12.00/ticket - trip limited to 25 people.
June 7 – Lane Springs Baptisms & Picnic
Who: Anyone! All ages! Everyone!
Leave at the conclusion of the 10:15 service (no 11:45 service today!) & drive to Lane
Springs. Bring a side dish and/or dessert to share. Also, bring lawn chairs & picnic
plates for your family. If you (or your child) are interested in being baptized, contact
Mrs. Charla. Church vans will be available for carpooling (parking is very limited at
Lane Springs.)
June 8-11 – Vacation Bible School - Passport to India
*Who: Kids ages 3 through 5th grade
Time: 9-11:30am
Register: Please register in advance in the church office or lobby (starting 5/17/15)
Volunteers: Yes! We need volunteers. See Mrs. Charla or Miss Megan to help
June 14 – Camp Car Wash Fundraiser
*Who: Kids in grades 5th-8th grades who are attending High Hill Christian Camp
Where: At the Station (youth building)
Time: 10:30am-1:00pm
Please let Mrs. Charla or Mr. Ben know if you are planning to participate.
June 17 – Springfield Cardinals Baseball Game
*Who: Kids in Kindergarten thru 5th grade (younger with a parent)
Leave Time: 4:30pm Approximate Return Time: 11:30pm
Bring: hat, glove, optional money for your own souvenirs
Cost: $20 (includes a ball park food buffet). Trip limited to 25 people.
June 21 – Father’s Day and Baby Dedication Ceremony
Who: any family wishing to participate
When: at the conclusion of the 10:15 service
Register: Contact Miss Megan or Mrs. Charla by June 7th to participate.
June 30-July 2 – Camp 34 at High Hill Christian Camp
*Who: Kids in 3rd or 4th grade
Register: online at highhillcamp.org (you don’t need a church code)
Cost: $100 if a deposit is paid by May 18 ($115 if not)
Mrs. Charla will be at this camp with some of our teen volunteers. Transportation is available. Let Mrs. Charla know when you register!
July 12-17 – PreTeen Camp at High Hill Christian Camp
*Who: Kids in 5th or 6th grade
Register: online at highhillcamp.org (you do not need a church code)
Cost: $175 if a deposit is paid by May 18 ($195 if not)
Mrs. Charla is looking for a parent or teen to volunteer to go to this camp!
July 15 – Incredible Pizza Food, Fun & Games in Springfield, MO
*Who: Kids in Kindergarten thru 5th grade (younger with a parent)
Leave Time: 9:00am Approximate Return Time: 4:00pm
Cost: $20 which includes lunch and games. Trip limited to 25 people, unless additional parents are willing to attend & help supervise.
July 17-18 – KickStart Camp at High Hill Christian Camp
*Who: Kids in 1st or 2nd grade with a parent
Register: online at highhillcamp.org (you don’t need a church code)
Cost: $35/camper plus $35/adult if a deposit is paid by May 18 ($45/if not)
Mrs. Charla will be directing this camp with some of our own volunteers. Transportation is available. Let Mrs. Charla know when you register!
August 1 – Jonah Show at the Sight & Sound Theater in Branson
*Who: Kids in Kindergarten thru 5th grade (younger with a parent)
Leave Time: Noon Approximate Return Time: 10:00pm
Cost: $20/kids $40/adults plus $ for a fast food dinner stop
Trip limited to 25 people.
August 9 – Meet Me at Splashzone
Who: Anyone! All ages! Everyone!
Time: TBA Cost: no $$
Bring your whole family out for summer food & summer fun.
August 12 – Crafty Crafts & Stuff
*Who: Kids in Kindergarten thru 5th grade (younger with a parent)
Time: 11:30am-1:30pm
Where: At church in room 214
What: We’ll have some lunch, play some games and make fun crafts.
Cost: no $$, but some volunteers would be awesome!
