GOD’S PROMISES

The earth is theLord’s,and everything in it,the world, and all who live in it;

Psalm 24:1

Praise be to you,Lord,the God of our father Israel,from everlasting to everlasting.Yours,Lord, is the greatness and the powerand the glory and the majesty and the splendor,for everything in heaven and earth is yours.Yours,Lord, is the kingdom;you are exalted as head over all.

I Chronicles 29:10 – 13

“Now fear theLordand serve him with all faithfulness.Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt,and serve the Lord.

But if serving theLordseems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve… But as for me and my household,we will serve theLord.”

Joshua 24:13 – 15

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,as faith-fulstewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

1 Peter 4:10

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says theLordAlmighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says theLordAlmighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says theLordAlmighty.

Malachi 3:10 -12

Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I shall return there. TheLordgave and theLordhas taken away. Blessed be the name of theLord.

Job 1:21

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth,where moths and vermin destroy,and where thieves break in and steal.But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. …No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
