The Eagle Soars
(In response to Sept 11, 2001)
Eagles and the red white and blue have been distinctive symbols of our beloved country (America) for many years. These are symbols that we as Americans hold sacred, dear and true. America, the land of prosperity with religious foundations and freedoms. We love, pray and stand up for what is right!
An enemy, is lurking in the dark, as a thief in the night, as a roaring lion. Scripture forewarns us of this lion and identifies him as Satan. He thinks that he is going to have the eagle in the very jaws of his diabolical plan. The lion and his soldiers deceptively strike the eagle (and her nest), causing death and mayhem which is viewed throughout the entire world. The world is shocked and many of America’s worldly enemies celebrate at the success of the terrorist attacks against the eagle. The cries of America, along with her victims and survivors, are heard and viewed in the sight of a global audience.
The eagle survives the cowardly assaults of the lion’s soldiers, but the nest sustains tremendous damages. The eagle has taken refuge into the airs of the Almighty Jehovah God and begins to strengthen it’s wings of retribution. Petitions and prayers are offered (to the true and only God) and the eagle is more united with the One it loves than in recent years. The eagle focuses on the monstrous lion and begins a systematic form of retaliative attacks on the lion’s instruments of destruction (Alqueda). The lion’s pawns cry, with great intensity, unto their perceived god for immediate victory over what they term as, infidel American’s. The is no answer, I wonder why?
The lion, knowing that he cannot contend with Jehovah God, swiftly hides from the shadows of the eagle, who gradually secures a seasonal victory. The lion’s plan is thwarted through the power of God, and the lion has retreated for a season. The eagle hovers and circles it’s foes but cannot totally destroy the lion, this is a battle that Jehovah God will wage and victorize on His divine time line.
The eagle applies the sterile gauzes and soothing balm to the oppressed recipients of the lion’s prey (American’s and the Afghanistan people). The eagle is flying in the winds of it’s God, and needs to remain in the currents of His will and mercies. American Christians have a divine call and must fight spiritual wickedness and perversity with the same vigor as we do our worldly enemies. The eagle has an army of God’s called, they are justified and sanctified believers who must contend for the cause of Christ. America must fly the course set before it’s strengthened wings and complete the commands of it’s God and then (and only then) will the eagle rest in total peace. (Matt 28:19- “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”)
Remember the victims of 911 and continue to fight the good fight and God will reward our country. Contend for the faith.

Dedicated to the victims of the terrorist attacks on American soil and to our military men and women who dedicate their lives to preserve our freedoms and to the Christian missionaries who boldly take the beloved light of the gospel of our Lord and Savior to the very people who vehemently despise and hate America and their God!
