About the Race
Mashpee Chamber of Commerce presents the Dunkin Donuts Shipyard Pumpkinhead Pub Run a 10k road race , a 5k walk or run and a free kids fit run. The route will take runners through the roads of Mashpee. The race will begin and end near the Mashpee library green in the Mashpee Commons. This race promises a full day of festivities for runners and their families as the Town of Mashpee Oktoberfest will begin where the race ends. In addition to donuts and coffee from Dunkin Donuts, Shipyard Brewery has invited all registered walkers and runners to join in the Pumpkinhead Pub Crawl! One free Shipyard Pumpkinhead beer to walkers and runners 21+ can be redeemed after the race at one of the participating pubs. Entry will also include great swag to the first 200 registered walkers and runners, including photo booth pictures by Photo Capture Booth, an event t-shirt, as well as a list of “runners specials” throughout the commons. Special guest appearance by the Dunkin Donut himself and his sidekick the Coffee Cup.
9:30am Kid Fit Run, 10am shot gun start for runners, followed by 10:15 walkers. Starting and finishing at the Oktoberfest in Mashpee Commons.
Proceeds of this race will benefit The Mashpee Chamber High School Scholarship Fund and. L.I.F.E. Inc,. Living Independently Forever, Inc., is a non profit organization that provides supported independent living for adults with disabilities within its condominium communities on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Kick off Pasta Party at Dino’s
Carb loading Kick off Party at Dino’s Sports Pub the night before the race Friday 10/10/14. 5-7pm. $10.00 adults. 5.00 kids. Payable to "Mashpee Chamber of Commerce", payment accepted at time of registration.
Awards
Prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male & female.
Prizes awarded to the first male and female in each of the following divisions: 11 & under, 12-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Number Pick Up
Bib pick up will be available at Anytime Fitness Gym 681 Falmouth Road Mashpee Ma 02649 in Deer Crossing Plaza. Pick up times are as follows; Thursday October 9th 10am -4pm and 5pm-7pm and Friday October 10th 10-4.

I know that running/walking a road race is potentially hazardous activity, which could cause injury or death. I will not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature, I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I attest that I have read the rules of the race and agree to abide by them. I assume all risks associated with running in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, and all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or roller blades, and animals are not allowed in the race and I will abide by all race rules. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and inconsideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce's Pumpkinhead Pub Run (10k/5k/kids) sponsored by Anytime Fitness and Dunkin Donuts, the Town of Mashpee, all event sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use my photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
