COMMUNITY COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP

Spring 2014 Application

The OsherEndowment Scholarship was established by Mr.Bernard Osher and the Honorable Barbro Osher to help City College students reach their educational goals. The scholarship provides up to $1,000 in need-based scholarships to individuals enrolled in transfer or career technical education programs at CCSF. Scholarships are awarded based on the discretion of the donor and may be received at any time during the academic year. Scholarship recipients can receive $500 per semester for a total of $1,000 per year.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must:

  1. Have completed 18 units
  2. Have a 2.5 GPA or better

  1. Be enrolled in a program leading to an academic degree or completion of a vocational or technical program
  2. Maintain 6 units in an academic or vocational program
  3. Have received a CCC Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver

Application must include the following attachments:

One Typed Page. Format: Double spaced, one inch margins, font Times New Roman, 12.

Please write about your academic or vocational goals and why you have chosen your selected field of study. Also, please include how your transfer or career technical goals are reflected in your current activities, interests, employment, educational achievements, special needs and financial circumstances.
