The Counseling & Mental Health Center at Texas Christian University welcomes applications for a full-time staff psychologist to join our wonderful team. Responsibilities include brief individual and group therapy, intake assessments, crisis intervention, and clinical supervision of pre-doctoral practicum students. Provide consultation to students, parents, faculty, and university personnel on issues related to student mental health. Provide campus outreach and programming related to college student mental health and wellness. The successful candidate will have expertise in brief therapy, strong crisis intervention skills, and the ability to manage a full case load.

Qualifications
Earned Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology. Licensed psychologist in Texas at time of hire or within 6 months. Minimum of two years experience in a college or university counseling center, which may include a pre-doctoral internship from an APA-accredited site.

Excellent clinical skills, diagnostic skills, and experience working with college populations. Demonstrated ability to address multicultural/diversity issues. Good interpersonal skills, team oriented, and desire to collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting. The ability to manage the professional demands of a challenging caseload while maintaining good self-care and positive and healthy perspectives. Strong preference will be given to applicants with a demonstrated experience and/or expertise in any of the following areas: disordered eating and body image issues, group therapy, substance abuse, working with veterans, and programming/training.
