THE CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION COMMITTEE OF THE

CENTRAL FLORIDA PARALEGAL ASSOCIATION, INC. (“CFPA”)

CORDIALLY INVITES YOU TO ATTEND:

“Understanding Florida Service of Process & Overcoming Obstacles Which Delay Service”

ABOUT THE SEMINAR: Do you sometimes have difficulty perfecting service of process in Florida or out-of-state? Do you have subpoenas or summonses that just can’t seem to get served because someone can’t be found or is evading service? When is substitute service permissible? What is a break order? What should be included on the return of service? This seminar will address the role of the process server and discuss current case law interpreting Florida Statutes 48.031(6) regarding service of process. A total of 2.0 hours of CLE credit from National Association of Legal Assistants (“NALA”) has been awarded for this seminar.

SPEAKER: Donald S. Eisenberg is the author of many articles regarding service of process and he has given numerous CLE seminars for lawyers on this topic. Mr. Eisenberg received a BS in Law from Northwestern University, and a LLB and Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin. He is “of counsel” with Eisenberg Law Offices, S.C., with his two sons in Madison, WI. He and his wife own and operate Investigative Process Service, Inc. and Investigative Legal Services, Inc. in Orlando, Florida. Their website is www.processfl.com.
