Abstract

The Capstone Project is focused on Texas Children’s Hospital. Texas Children's Hospitalis located in Houston, Texas. This project focuses on Texas Children’s Hospital’s different departments and functions, the operations of the organization and the technological changes that have enhanced better healthcare at our facility; and mainly how efficient the administration is, has been and how it should be. The purpose of doing this is to evaluate the organization’s weaknesses and success and then determine what changes should be adopted to better the areas with weaknesses.

Additionally, in this research, we will find out whether the various functions co-exist in harmony and therefore are suitable to rely upon in providing information that can be able to solve the challenges the Hospital faces. Some of the most common challenges may be small medication equipment/machines, challenges with the management, and funding or donor issues and problems. Through this project, we aim to determine whether the hospital has managed to creating a healthier global organization or not and if so to what extent and what could be done for its improvement. This study will also evaluate the possibility of turning the organization into a global society that doesn’t focus only on the intercultural divert around the community. The practical ethical standards being followed at the organization and the social responsibility will all be discussed in the project.
