The Camp Staff Will Consist of High School/Middle School Football Coaches and Some Varsity

DETAILS

This camp is for any athlete entering 7th or 8th grade who is interested in learning the great game of football. This camp will emphasize the fundamentals of the game: blocking, tackling, running, passing and catching. Each player will learn an offensive and defensive position based upon his interest and body size. The basics of Homestead’s offense and defense will be introduced and used during the scrimmage on Friday night.

The camp staff will consist of high school/middle school football coaches and some varsity football players.

Safety will be a priority in all that we do during this camp. We will match players based upon their age and body size. Proper blocking and tackling technique will be taught and emphasized at all times.

The camp will be held at the Homestead High School Football Stadium on their artificial grass field. The camp will run from 6:00-8:00pm Monday through Thursday. Friday will be a scrimmage and will start at 6:00pm.
