The Builders’ Association 2017 Scholarship Application
The Builders’ Association's Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit endowment fund whose mission is to support outstanding individuals preparing for a career in the construction industry within the area served by the Association. The Foundation currently supports twenty $3,000 perpetual named scholarships. Recipients will be announced at the annual banquet in February 2018 with checks issued for the following Fall 2018-Spring 2019 academic year.
To be eligible, applicants must plan to be a full-time college student in the Fall 2018 or Spring 2019 semester studying in a construction-related program (construction management, engineering, or architecture). Applicants must complete the following 5 steps before December 1, 2017:
- complete/mail (or e-mail) the application to Cindy Ignacio (see contact information below)
- forward the rater survey on to a HS counselor OR college advisor to complete/mail (or e-mail)
- forward the rater survey on to an adult nonfamily member to complete/mail (or e-mail)
- mail (or e-mail) unofficial transcripts to Cindy Ignacio
- follow-up with Cindy (and raters) to make sure she has all of your material
