You are invited to participate in our two-day programme of presentations, talks and workshops by international and local experts in ELT.

As in previous years, this full two-day event will offer a range of workshops facilitated by practising teachers, teacher-trainers, and academics from local institutions, overseas universities, and British Council teaching centres, including Bahrain, China, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar , Singapore, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Thailand and Vietnam. There are also presentations from publishing houses and centres, including Cengage, MaGraw Hill and AIB – BTEC. The keynote presenter will be Ms. Liz Hockingworld famous English Language Teaching materials writer from the UK. Liz was one of the authors of the ground-breaking primary course, Macmillan English, and is one of the authors of EnglishWorld. She is particularly interested in cross-curricular content in the teaching of English, developing communication skills in the classroom, and providing teachers with clear guidance on using course materials.

On the first day of the conference go to the registration desk outside the Grand Ball-Room of the hotel between08.00 hrs and 09.00 hrs. Please bring the receipt with you in order to receive a name badge, which will entitle you to lunches & refreshments for the two days.
