THE BOROUGH OF EASTLEIGH (HEDGE END, WEST END, & BOTLEY)

(AMENDMENT NO 3) ORDER 2018.)

The Council of the Borough of Eastleigh (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") pursuant to arrangements made with the Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby makes the following Order:-

Commencement and Citation

This Order shall come into operation on 01 July 2018and may be cited as the “The Borough of Eastleigh (Hedge End West End and Botley) (Amendment No3) Order 2018.’’ (the “Order”)

Restricted Zone

In this Order the Principal Order means The Borough of Eastleigh (Hedge End West End and BotleyConsolidation Order 2016.
The Principal Order is hereby amended as follows:

(a)In the first Schedule (No Waiting at Any Time) item number 346a (relating to Pretoria Road there shall be inserted:

346b. / Pretoria RoadHedge end / North side / From a point 7m west of the western boundary ofNo 16 Pretoria Roadwestwards for a distance of 78m..

(b)In the first Schedule (No Waiting at Any Time) item number 25a (relating to Beattie Rise there shall be inserted:

25a. / Beattie Rise Garage access
Hedge end / Both sides / From the junction of Beattie Rise between property No’s 9 and 14 a point 27m north west on both sides of the garage access.

(c)In the first Schedule (No Waiting at Any Time) item number 84a (relating to Cheping Gardens there shall be inserted:

84a. / Cheping Gardens Botley / Both sides / From the junction of Cheping Gardens and Mortimer Road to a point 23m south on both side of Cheping Gardens..

(d)In the first Schedule (No Waiting at Any Time) item number 514a (relating to Westward Road there shall be inserted:

514a. / Westward Road North side from the junction with Wildern Lane for a distance of 42 M

Westward Road South side from the junction with Wildern Lane for a distance of 32 M

(e)In the first Schedule (No Waiting at Any Time) item number 526a (relating to
Wildern Lane) there shall be inserted:

Hedge end / West side / From a point at the north end of the bus layby for a
distance of 25m. (opposite the junction with Westward Road).
/ North side / From a point 7m west of the western boundary of No 16 Pretoria Road westwards for a distance of 78m.

f) Cheltenham Gardens

Hedge EndIn Schedule 1.9 (NoWaiting 10.00am to 11.00am Monday to Friday for items 1 to16 shall be revoked and replaced with:

No Waiting 10.00am to 11.00am and 14.00pm to 15.00pm Monday to Friday foritems 1 to 16
