DAFFODIL RUN

HECKFIELD (or STOCKBRIDGE) to CHRISTCHURCH
Dear 'Daffodiler',
We hope that you will participate in the 2017 Daffodil Run, which is open to all cars manufactured up to and including 1939.
The run starts at The New Inn Hotel, Heckfield, Hampshire. (on the B3349) and follows a suggested route to Stockbridge for coffee and then on to the Alice Lisle in the New Forest for lunch or a picnic on the green. We will then continue on to the picturesque and historic town of Christchurch for prize giving and tea with the Mayor.
Signing on, will take place at:
08:30am - 09:30 am The New Inn Hotel, Heckfield. RG 27 0LE

10:00am - 11:00 am The Hatch Room, Grosvenor Hotel, High Street, Stockbridge, SO20 6EU
You will receive your entry number, commemorative plaque and suggested route when you sign-on.
Note that entry to the reserved parking at the Alice Lisle and Christchurch green is restricted to registered participants only. For access, please display the blue entry number card provided in the sign-on pack.
Entry Fee: £10.00 per car for paid up members of the Bean Car Club and £13.00 per car for non-members.
We have again negotiated an afternoon tea in the function room of The Captains Club Hotel at £14 per head. This will be a buffet (per table of 10) consisting of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream & preserve, fresh fruit tartlets and chocolate éclairs' with a pot of freshly brewed tea or coffee.
We are limited to 110 people and places will be allocated in the order entries are received, so please book early to avoid disappointment. There are plenty of other teashops in Christchurch, including the Boat House at the other end of the green, if you prefer or we are over the number limit.
The following awards will be presented at the tea (in the warm and dry). If you win an award and have not booked for tea you will be invited in to receive your prize. Prize giving will take place before tea is served.

· Distance Trophy
This last is awarded to the entrant who will have driven their car the furthest for the event. So please state on your entry form the miles you will drive to Heckfield or Stockbridge and home again from Christchurch after the event - we will add this to the route.
If you wish to enter the Daffodil Run please complete and enclose the following:
» The attached entry form, including the signed disclaimer at the bottom.
» Your cheque made payable to the Bean Car Club for the entrance fee.
» Your cheque made payable to the Bean Car Club for any teas you wish to order.
» A stamped addressed envelope if you are not on email, for confirmation of your entry.
