The Lie / The TruthI am hopelessly lost!
I'll never make it to heaven. / 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 [we are] afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;
Nobody loves me / Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD appeared to him from afar, [saying,] "I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.
God is watching to see how I live before He accepts me. / Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
God made a mistake when He made me! / Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

It is OK to have friends who are morally corrupt / Proverbs 13:20 He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will suffer harm.
Everything goes wrong for me / Matthew 6:33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.
I am a failure / Philippians 1:6 [For I am] confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
If anything good is going to happen I must work hard to get it / 1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us [in] whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
God turns His back on me when I sin / 1 John 2:1-2 My little children, I am writing these things to you that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for [those of] the whole world.
