The ability to tie good knots is a much under-rated talent. But the ability to untie knots can be just as useful. This prayer reminds us of that.

Dear God, please untie my knots: the will-nots of my stubbornness, the can- nots of my fears and the am-nots of my insecurities. Then turn my heart towards the have-nots of this world. And hold me to you like a reef knot, which only becomes tighter when the two ends are pulled apart.

Faith is not about every turning out OK; faith is about being OK no matter how things turn out!

There are eight steps to overcoming a problem. They are: "I won't do it", "I can't do it" "I want to do it", "How do I do it?", "I'll try to do it", I can do it", "I will do it", and horray, "I did it."

Improvement is only ever one step away, and soon you'll have the problem, solved. Just concentrate on what you'd like to achieve and before you know it, you'll have succeeded.

LAST WORD: People might see themselves as being more important than others, but we should not overrate ourselves as, at the end of the day, we all end up in the same place anyway!!
