The ArtsPlymouth Scholarship
Beginning in 2017, ArtsPlymouth will offer a scholarship award up to $1,000 total (to be distributed among one or more recipients)to be used for music lessons or summer Arts camps, or other programs related to the Arts that will take place during 2017. ArtsPlymouth, is an organization founded in 1996 and dedicated to furthering the convergence of the arts, faith, and community; it now attracts more than 5,000 people annually for concerts and art programming.
Eligibility
All children and youth, through 12th grade, who are active in the music and/or arts at Plymouth Church are eligible to apply.
Required Application
An application can be found in the literature racks outside the sanctuary, or on the church’s website ( The application may either be submitted to the ArtsPlymouth mailbox in the copy room (across from church office),or emailed to .
Deadline
Deadline for submission is May 15, 2017. Late applications will not be considered.
Judging:
All applications will be reviewed by members of ArtsPlymouth and will be kept confidential. A decision will be made by June 1, 2017. All applicants will be notified by email/phone of the results of this award. The judgment of ArtsPlymouthis final.
Award:
The award will be made payable to the individual. At the conclusion of the activity, the recipient must submit a brief written document detailing how the program helped achievethe stated goals.
