Dear Parents,

Greetings!

Since the inception, the school has shown a consistent growth. The Year 2013-14 is very important to us as the first batch of class XII will be appearing for All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination in March 2014. I am sure that our students, who are armed with study skills, helped and supported by the teachers, and nurture an intense desire to do well, will bring laurels to school.

It is time to share our achievements and future plans with you.

Academics

-Class X result was excellent with four students out of 44, achieving CGPA 10.

They are Ayush Nagar, Harshit Agarwal Snehal Maheshwari & Shatakshi Saxena.They have been awarded “Certificate of Merit” by CBSE for outstanding performance in academics.

-Extra classes were organized for class XII students to complete the syllabus by the end of October/1st week of November.

-We have planned three Pre Board Examinations to make class XII students familiar with pattern of board examination.

-As per CBSE instruction for the assessment of Co-curricular activities, some clubs have been introduced in the school. English Literary Society, IT Club, Eco Club, Quiz Club are few to mention.

-Class I & II students will also come to school for six days in a week. This has been done to enhance their reading skills as well as participation in more activities.

-Digital classes by Tata Interactive System will be introduced in the school by December 2013 to enrich the teaching learning process. It will help the teachers to deliver high quality instructions. It will also help the students in understanding the concept well and in enhancing their attention span and thinking skill and social skills. A fee of Rs.100 per month per student will be charged, once the classes start.

Co-Curricular Activities

A plethora of inter- house competitions were organized for Junior as well as Senior school. Inter house English Debate, Hindi Debate, On the spot Painting Competition, Flower making Competition, Inter House Quiz Competition, MS-Paint Competition, Collage Making & Image Editing are few to mention.

-We are proud of Harshit Agarwal of Class XII, who participated in “Junior Editor II” a competition organized by Dainik Bhaskar and was selected at State Level. He was felicitated at Jaipur in the august presence of many dignitaries.

-Sachin Tripathi & Nidhi K. Sant of class X, participated in an Inter School Hindi Debate organized at Chinnar School, Alwar. In all 19 schools participated. Nidhi stood 1st and Sachin bagged 2nd position. The team also won overall Champion Trophy.

-Utkarsh Rawat and S. Meenakshi of class VII participated in a Wild Life Quiz organized by WWF Society at Udaipur. They secured 4th position out of 30 schools.

-Our school students stood 1st in an Inter school Group Dance Competition organized at District Level.

Sports

-Many Inter- house matches were organized to promote the healthy spirit of competition

-School Kho-Kho team will be representing the school in CBSE Cluster meet which will be held at Rajasthan Public School, Jakhrana, Behror.

-School Athletic team will be participating in CBSE Cluster Athletic meet to be held at the end of October at the same venue.

A Career Counselling workshop was organized for classes X & XII students. A session with the parents was conducted an individual counselling of those who were interested along with their parents was also organized.

A work shop on study skills called “Aadhayan” was organized for classes IX & XI students.

School teachers were sent to attend the workshops organized by PRFS Mathura & CBSE on Economics, Continues Comprehensive Evaluation, Assessment of Listening and Speaking skills and Value Education.

CBSE has taken many initiatives in order to make our education system better and more effective. You are requested to go through CBSE website to keep yourself abreast with the latest changes introduced by the board.

I express my heart felt gratitude to our Chairman Mr. M.V.Ramana Rao, Vice Chairman Mr.N.S.Wadge and to Mr. Vijay B.Ekre, Mr.Vijay Chhabra, Mr.Alok Nigam and Mr. Vivek Khosla for always extending a helping hand and giving their unstinted support in the smooth functioning of the school. I sincerely thank all the staff members for working efficiently and making the school move from strength to strength.
