THE Gospel Part 13

The Accountability of the Just and Unjust

Ezekiel 34: 7"Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: 8 As I live, declares the Lord GOD, surely because my sheep have become a prey, and my sheep have become food for all the wild beasts, since there was no shepherd, and because my shepherds have not searched for my sheep, but the shepherds have fed themselves, and have not fed my sheep, 9therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: 10Thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require my sheep at their hand and put a stop to their feeding the sheep. No longer shall the shepherds feed themselves. I will rescue my sheep from their mouths, that they may not be food for them.

Redemption: is THEACT of God, whereby He purchased a people for Himself by the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, for His purpose. Did you hear that? It’s THE ACT of GOD, NOT an act of man, so it’s God’s calling, NOT you calling on God.

Salvation: is a future inheritance event, whereby we are delivered into the earthly kingdom of Jesus Christ. This salvation is determined at the judgment seat of Christ, and is gained by “walking by faith towards the inheritance”, and it’s by God’s grace.

Numbers 16:1Now Korah the son of Izhar, son of Kohath, son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab, and On the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men. 2And they rose up before Moses, with a number of the people of Israel, 250 chiefs of the congregation, chosen from the assembly, well-known men. 3 They assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron and said to them, "You have gone too far! For all in the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them. Why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the LORD?"

Numbers 16:19Then Korah assembled all the congregation against them at the entrance of the tent of meeting. And the glory of the LORD appeared to all the congregation.

23And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 24"Say to the congregation, Get away from the dwelling of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram."

31And as soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart. 32And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods. 33So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly. 34And all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said, "Lest the earth swallow us up!" 35And fire came out from the LORD and consumed the 250 men offering the incense.

2 Corinthians 5: 10For we must ALL appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that EACH ONEmay receive WHAT IS DUE for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

John 5:24Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

28Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when ALL(with distinction) who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

Acts 24: 15 having a hope in God, which these men themselves accept, that there WILL BE a resurrection of BOTH the just(those who have done good)and the unjust(those who have done evil).

Titus 1:1Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the sake of the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness, 2 in hope of eternal life, which God, who never lies, promised before the ages began

1Paul, a bond-servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, [writes] for [the] faith of [the] chosen of God and [the] knowledge of truth that produces godliness, 2on the basis of [the] hope of everlasting life, which God, Who cannot lie, promised very long time ago,

Daniel 12: 1"At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. 2And many(not all)of those who sleep in the dust of the earth (the dead-BUT not all the dead)shall awake, THESEto everlasting life, ANDTHESE to shame and everlasting contempt.

1 Corinthians 15:17And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins. 18Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.

19If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.20But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection (singular)of the dead. 22For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 23But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, THEN at his comingthose who belong to Christ.

51Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all (with distinction) sleep, but we shall all(with distinction) be changed,

Galatians 5:24And those who belong to Christ Jesushave(active tense)crucified the flesh with its passions and desires
