The 4 P’s of Marketing – Marketing Mix Mobile

  1. Identify one sports or entertainment event. On an 8 ½” x 11” piece of construction paper, draw a picture representing this event. Cut out the picture. (Ex. If the sports event is football, cut out a football field or stadium.)
  1. Identify four icons related to this event that will reflect the 4 P’s of marketing. Draw and cut these icons out of construction paper. The pictures should be 5” to 7”. (Ex: a football, helmet, jersey, goal, referee, singer, apple for Apple Festival, or rides for Carowinds, ski boots for ski resort .)
  1. On each of the smaller pictures, label one of the 4 P’s and give the definition of that “P”. On the opposite side of the picture, give an example of that “P” relating to the specific industry. Do this for each of the four P’s.
  1. Using a single-hole punch, punch four holes in the main picture and one in each of the smaller pictures. Using string, attach the smaller icons to the larger one creating a Sports or Entertainment Marketing 4 P’s Mobile. (Main picture can be hooked onto a hanger)
  1. Be prepared to present your mobile to the class.
