42nd Ohio FFA Alumni Annual Meeting – January 25, 2014

Here are a few of the facts and figures from that meeting….

The weather did affect us but we conducted our meeting

-61 alumni members were in attendance

- 12% of the possible delegates were in attendance

-12 out of the 93 affiliates were present or 13%

- Ridgewood won the highest % of members in attendance

-Talawanda won the Most Members in Attendance

-Agricultural Education Promotional Award – 1st – Anthony Wayne, 2nd –Pettisville

3rd – Bellevue,

Coaching Award - Talawanda

-Outstanding Member - 1st – Jason Damron,Talawanda, 2nd – Les Kinder, Miami East, 3rd – Mary Heilmann, Anthony Wayne, 4th – Jodi Lott – Bellevue

-Horizon Award winners were: - Dean Blakely from Talawanda, Jeremy Crouch from Pettisville, Ty and Tina Curless from Bellevue, Jim Mitchell from Anthony Wayne and Jackie Winner from Miami East.

Legion of Merit Citations for membership growth went to: Angie Barney, Anthony Wayne, Karen Lemle, Anthony Wayne, Steve Sewell, Alexander, Lavon Herschberger , Pettisville, Beverly Seale, Felicity Franklin, Jamie & Ken Snider, Felicity Franklin ,Les and Doris Disher, Anthony Wayne, Mitzi Martin, Edgewood, Deborah Johlin-Bach, Woodmore, John and Lexie Poulson, Pettisville, and Vicky Ryan, Anthony Wayne

-Affiliate Awards went to: Anthony Wayne, Miami East, Mowrystown, Pettisville and Talawanda. They all received a Gold Rating.

-Affiliate Leadership Growth Recognition went to– A. B. Graham, Anthony Wayne, Loudonville, New London, Pymatuning Valley, Sentinel, and Westfall

-Recognized for their National Ratings – The Talawanda Affiliate received a National Bronze Rating for their Newsletter and a Bronze Rating for their Website. The Anthony Wayne Affiliate received a National Silver rating for their Newsletter.

The Ohio Alumni received a SilverRating on our Newsletters, a Silver Rating on our web site.

-Scrapbook - 1st -Anthony Wayne, 2nd - Sheridan, 3rd–Pettisville

-Affiliate Basket Contest - 1st –Talawanda, 2nd – Miami East, 3rd– Ridgewood, 4th - New Lexington , 5th –Pettisville. The basket auction brought in $445

-Dues will be kept at $15

-Affiliate Fee will be kept at $100
