Coach,
The 2012 WashingtonStateScholasticClayTargetProgramState shoot is fast approaching. The WASCTP program has grown from 5 teams at our first state shoot last year, to 20 plus teams that we hope will make the state shoot this year. This is due to the support we receive from the SCTP program, Midway Foundation, and more specifically Larry and Brenda Potterfield. Each team that attends the state shoot this year will have $3000 placed into their endowment account. This is in addition to the $3000 that new teams that have signed up this year will receive just for signing up with the program. Teams that place in the top 5 (they must shoot alldisciplinesto qualify) will receive a portion of the $16,000 in endowment monies that will be distributed.
Now that I have your attention after talking about all this money, I want toimplore you to get registered as quickly as you can so that you won't miss the opportunity to participate in this event. We have really tight time frames for getting teams registered. Due to this fact we are going to take every opportunity to make sure that you do get registered. The registration deadline is May 15th along with a $30.00 deposit for each participant. If we receive your registration between May 16th and May 19th you will be charged and additional $25.00 and if it is received between the 19th and 22nd it will be an additional $50. No registrations will be accepted after May 22nd. So please make sure to get your teams registered early! To keep you informed on the registration process once a registration is received we will post the team name on thewasctp.orgwebsite. We will also be counting down the days until the registration is closed. We really want to have your team at the state shoot.
I look forward to meeting you all at the state shoot and having a good time watching the kids breaking targets, making new friends, and just having a good time! If you have any questions or concerns please contact me or any of your state officers and we will do our best to assist you.
Sincerely,
Brett Walker
