Entries will not be accepted on the day of the shoot.

Notes:

- The WesternRound will be shot to Archery GB rules, including Dress Rule 307.

- Awards: All trophies and medals will be awarded according to the numbers of entries -

1-3 archers – Gold only

4-6 archers – Gold & Silver

7 or more archers – Gold, Silver & Bronze

- Hot & cold drinks will be available but bring your own food.

- Please use the main entrance to Attingham Park, and park at the bottom end of the overflow

car park. (See map below)

- Juniorswithout an entry form signed by a parent or carer will not be allowed to shoot.Junior ages must be specified on the entry form.

- A novice is an archer who started shooting on or after 1st April 2016, and who did notenter last year’s competition.

- Traditional means a wooden bow such as a Mongolian or Scythian type bow without a shelf or arrow rest, shooting wooden arrows with feather fletchings, conforming to AGB Rule 205).

- Photographs will be taken by authorised Photographers. If you (or, in the case of Juniors, yourchild),

do not wish to be appear in photographs please tick the ‘no photo’box, and advise the Organizer on the day. We will do all we can to ensure your wishes are respected.

- In signing the Entry Form for the Wenlock Olympian Games you accept that The WenlockOlympian Society, The National Trust, Attingham Park or Bowbrook Archers can not beheld responsible for any accident injury or loss sustained during participation.

Attingham Park -

On the Emstrey roundabout on the A5 take the B4380 towards Atcham (you will notice Shropshire Leisure on your right).

As you pass over the bridge at Atcham watch out for the entrance to Attingham Park, second on your left.

Follow the private road to the main car park. Continue through the car park to the overflow car park.

The overflow car park is divided into 2 parts.Park at the lower end (furthest away), and walk back to the gate at the split between the upper and lower car parks.

Note: if you park in the main car park and enter via the main reception the staff will try to charge you an entry fee unless you are members of the National Trust.
