The 10th Annual Jingle Bell 5k Run/Walk for Arthritis Sponsored by Brielle Orthopedics

About the Event
The Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis is an annual event that takes place in different cities all over the nation. In past years the Arthritis Foundation has coordinated the event at Bar Anticipation. Due to budget cuts and lack of employees to coordinate the event this year, the Arthritis Foundation has asked Brielle Orthopedics to coordinate the event with their assistance. This year Brielle Orthopedics is producing and marketing the 5k Run/Walk marketed as a third party event to benefit the Arthritis Foundation. The goals of the event are to raise awareness for arthritis and generate fundraising to support the Arthritis Foundation’s mission. The Arthritis Foundation will be the beneficiary of 100% of net proceeds from the event.
We wish to hold the event as parallel as it has been in past years. The event will take place on December 13th, 2014. The race will begin and end at Bar Anticipation in Lake Como. Registration will begin at 8am on the 13th. The 5k will begin at 9:30am and the walk will take place 15 minutes after the start of the 5k. We expect the Run/Walk to be over no later than 11am. Last year there was 650 participants, we are expecting the same amount this year. We will also be holding a happy hour for packet pick up at Bar-A Friday December 12th for participants, volunteers, and sponsors.
