Special Olympics’ Victory Village Carnival

BOOTH PROPOSAL

Thank you for showing interest in making a booth for our Special Olympics Victory Village Carnival. Your contribution to the April 17th Special Olympics will not only be helping your Parkway North, but helping the community as well. Your job is to design a booth (meaning a game or activity) that people can play. It can be directed towards little kids or towards teenagers/people of all ages). We’ve included some examples below.

Please fill out the following form. You may use a separate sheet if you need more room but please make sure that all pages for the Booth Proposal form are stapled together and TURN IN TO Dr. Calcaterra (FRESHMAN OFFICE) by MARCH 30TH @ 3PM.

The proposal will be used to ensure that you have a well developed plan that will be followed through and to make sure that no two groups are doing the same game.

If you need help in finding an idea feel free to call or e-mail:

Examples of booths:

·  Ring toss

·  Face painting

·  Duck Pond (if you find a duck with a star on the bottom you win)

·  Dum Dum Tree

·  Hula Hoop

·  Decorate Bags (they can carry their other prizes in it)

It is important that you are as specific as possible especially when describing what supplies you’ll be using. Your club will be responsible for providing ALL MATERIAL and PRIZES. Please note in the supply area if you will need a table (a circular lunch one) in your area. Be aware that the kids will be using tickets so have a container to throw tickets in.

BOOTH SELECTIONS WILL BE ANNOUNCED APRIL 3RD AND A FOLLOW UP MEETING PRIOR TO THE EVENT (APRIL 17TH) WILL BE HELD.

Thank you for your support and have fun designing your booth!

Sincerely,

Libby McCarter Joseph Kim, Kelly Rohan, Jennie Siebert
