LOCATION & PARKING

Hope Fest is held at Kino Stadium, located at 2500 East Ajo Way. Parking is available in West and South lots, near the stadium. Maps and Driving Instructions are available on our website:

DATES

  • Friday, October 21st – Pack the Park and Stadium Set-Up – arrive anytime between 8am–5pm. Enter Gate “A”.
  • Saturday, October 22nd – Volunteer Shifts (Check-in takes time, please arrive early, especially Saturday 7 a.m. shift)

700am – 2:00 pm (All Day)

7:00am – 11:00 am (Morning Shift)

11:00am – 2:00 pm (Afternoon Shift)

2:00pm – 5:00pm (Clean-up)

  • Sunday, October 23rd – Clean Up and Stadium Reset - Volunteers from 10-Noon, Enter Gate “A”.

VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN

  • All Volunteers must sign a waiver and receive volunteer credentials when they check-in. Then you will be assigned to an area where you will receive instructions for your duties during your shift.
  • If you are Spanish-speaking, or speak another language, please let us know at check-in and you will be properly identified as someone who could help with translation.
  • Your volunteer credentials MUST BE WORN during your time of service.
  • For Saturday - 7 am: Volunteer check-in is located at Gate “D” on the West side of the stadium. Arrive early.
  • For Saturday – 9 am or later - check-in at the Main entrance – Gate “A”.
  • Groups may check-in together, your leader will have a group-sign-in sheet that may be completed before your arrive.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Please arrive early enough to check-in and be on time for your shift.
  • If you’re unable to make the full-shift commitment, please come anyway. We can certainly place you in the area most needed at that time.
  • Dress for comfort - in jeans, pants or shorts and a t-shirt. Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes for walking, as you’ll be on your feet most of the time.
  • Hope Fest Volunteers will receive a FREE T-Shirt upon check-in. Extra Hope Fest event-shirts are available for $10.
  • There is no storage at the event, so please come with a fanny-pack or a small cross-body bag, instead of a purse. Please leave your valuable items at home.
  • You might be exposed to the sun, so please wear a hat and sunscreen for protection.
  • Free bottled water and a hot dogs are available for lunch.
  • Volunteers cannot participate or obtain services during the event. If you are in need of the services offered,

please be our guest as an Attendee and not as a Volunteer.

  • Be ever-mindful that the guests who come to Hope Fest may be in a difficult time in their lives. Your kindness, smile, and helpfulness just might be the ray of hope they need. So please be patient and respectful of all the guests that we serve. Remember kindness and smiles go a long way. SEE YOU THERE!
