Thank you for choosing Bark At The World, LLC (BATW) Pet Sitters to provide care for your pet pals in your absence.

Please be advised that while BATW employees are bonded against damage or loss of property, our insurance does not cover illness or injury of your pet. By signing this contract you absolve BATW of financial responsibility associated with Veterinary care should your pet pal become ill during your absence. We will do everything in our power to ensure your pet receives the best medical attention possible by the instructions covered in the client profile/history.

While possibility of injury is small, animals do hurt themselves and again BATW will take action to ensure your pet pal receives the best medical attention possible by the instructions covered in the client profile/history. If an injury occurs through the neglect of a BATW employee, BATW will cover expenses associated only with the actual injury incident. In the event of an after hours emergency your pet will be taken to the nearest 24 hour emergency clinic.

All services must be paid in full at the time service begins. To book a reservation for service by BATW a 50% deposit is required and is refundable if cancellation occurs 72 hours prior to start of service.

On going services such as dog walking must be paid at the beginning of each scheduled set.

PERSONAL PET CARE PROVIDER: Nancy Murphy is the owner of Bark At The World, LLC Pet Sitters and handles most pet care herself. However, during the busy seasonal schedule or if necessary to accommodate multiple scheduling, a contracted employee of BATW may be visiting your home and pet. When possible, BATW will introduce the employee prior to client departure so the client will be familiar with the person directly in contact with their pet pal. If this is an issue, please advise BATW in advance so we can make every effort to accommodate your needs.

THIRD PARTY CARETAKERS/HOUSE SITTERS: If other persons will be “checking” in on your pets or be responsible for coming to your home during your absence, this contract relieves BATW of any financial responsibility associated with damage to property or pets. Our coverage does not allow for issues arising from a third party. This includes but is not limited to, home cleaning services, family that does not live in the home as well as installers and repairmen that might have access when you are not present in your home.

BOARDING AT CAMP MURPHY: Your pet pal(s) will be cared for in our home as part of our family. If kenneling is preferred, you agree to bring your pet’s kennel for use during their boarding stay with instructions on how often your pet pal is used to being kenneled. We will have kennels available for use in emergency situations where dogs need to be isolated due to circumstances such as illness during the stay that requires isolation or if it becomes necessary for the safety of your pet pal. You will need to bring your own pet’s food unless you have arranged ahead of time for BATW to provide food your pet pal during their boarding stay. In this case, an additional $10.00 service charge will apply per stay. While BATW strives to only board healthy dogs that do well with other dogs, there are times that a spat may occur. BATW will make every effort to keep your pet pal safe and in the event an injury does occur, care will be given to ensure the well being of your pet pal. By signing this contract, you are agreeing to allow your pet pal(s) to co-mingle with other dogs that are boarding at Camp Murphy and the personal dogs belonging to Nancy Murphy.

EARLY ARRIVALS: If you will be returning home at an earlier date than expected BATW will return any remaining balance only if your return is a documented emergency. These occurrences will be handled on a case-by-case basis. This contract, once signed, gives permission to BATW to enter your home during your specified absence as documented in this contract. (ie: a neighbor who suddenly becomes available to care for your pets does not meet the requirement to terminate this contract.)

The forms enclosed with this contract are to be completed and returned to BATW as BATW’s property. These records, keys, entrance codes and personal info are considered proprietary and necessary to BATW business and under no circumstances will be shared with third parties.

Please date and sign below. Please include the “care dates,” departure from home and arrival at home times and any other applicable travel information. The enclosed price schedule applies unless other arrangements have been given via discounts, etc.
