I decided to send this newsletter home with your children so you can see what my newsletters look like online. I cannot tell how many people go online to look at them. I’m not super at this since it is my first year doing it this way, but I think I’m getting the hang of it. I’ll show you how to get on to my site at parent teacher conferences the end of this month if you haven’t been on by then.

Bullying Prevention Seminar
Hoxie Schools will be hosting a Bullying Prevention Seminar for students, parents and staff on Thursday, October 1. You are invited to attend this seminar with your children. Kindergarten-3rd grade will start their seminar at 8:20 in the grade school gym. Our seminar should be over at 9:00. I am looking forward to seeing this seminar and discussing the information with my class after it is over.
Good “ole” Kansas Weather
I love that the weather is getting cooler! Please remember that we have to scheduled recesses a day. Our first recess is at 12:00 and the second recess is at 1:45. Weather changes quickly in Kansas as we all know. Please make sure your child is dressed for our ever changing weather!

{NEW STUDENT}
We have a new student that joined our class! Grant Shaw started at Hoxie Grade School on Tuesday, September 29. The students were so excited to see a new desk in our room. They could hardly await for him to arrive. I believe he’ll be a wonderful addition to our room!!
