Women in Business celebrates successful women who have excelled in their specific business, profession, organisation or line of work. Judges are looking for women who have made a real difference in business over the past 12 months. The essence of these awards is to discover and reward exceptional women who, through leadership, entrepreneurialism, mentoring skills, and/or ideas stand out from their colleagues.

Entrants can self-nominate or be nominated by work colleagues, customers, suppliers or other associate.

Rising Star

·  In addition to the general criteria above, this award is open to Women aged 30 and under who have made their mark as Women in Business

·  The winner is a “Woman to Watch”. She may be a future leader, or already head of a team. She may just be starting in business, or forming her own company, or quickly rising through the ranks.

·  Nominations are encouraged from young women in business and organisations of all sizes.

1. Awards are open to every women based in the Solent or Thames Valley area. Please contact if you would like a map showing the geographic boundaries emailed to you.

2. Judging will take place during August.

3. Completed nomination forms and any supporting material should be emailed to or posted to: Events Department, Elcot Publications, Howarth Lodge, 7 Reading Road, Pangbourne, Berkshire, RG8 7LR.

4. Please clearly state where information is confidential. Any confidential information will be available to judges but not announced at the awards event or distributed to media.
