*the benchmark exam will count as part of the 2nd 9 weeks grade for semester and year-long courses. The test will be given at the teacher’s convenience during the 9th/10th week for all courses and again at the 26th/27th week for yearlong courses.

EXAM EXEMPTIONS: All students will be required to take the EOCT for courses in which it applies. Students may exempt the final exam (1 semester courses) or 1st semester posttest (yearlong courses) for a course in the following way:

  • A student must have an average of 70 or above
  • Miss no more than 2 days per semester

CLASS RULES:

  1. Always be attentive and engaged, no sleeping or putting your head down on the desk.
  2. Always come to class on time. Tardiness will not be tolerated.
  3. Always show RESPECT to everyone in the classroom.
  4. Always follow directions the FIRST TIME they are given.
  5. Always take responsibility for your decisions.
  6. Always observe all rules in the student handbook.
  7. Only food or drink allowed in classroom is water.

If a rule is broken, one of the following will be implemented, depending on the situation:

  • Verbal Warning
  • Picking up trash before or after school or at the end of class
  • Detention with me after school or at lunch time
  • Writing assignment
  • Referral to the administration
