Course Overview

The goal of this course is to help students begin to communicate with Spanish speakers through written and oral expression. Through the study of history and culture, emphasis is placed on interconnectedness, global awareness and the broad movements and patterns of the history of Spanish speakers. Vocabulary and grammatical structures will be taught in context. The course is designed to stimulate interest in and foster respect for other peoples and cultures. Other homework assignments that I do not collect I will check for completion. When you are absent it is your responsibility to find out the work you missed.
