Texas Reader’s Club: Book Report Expectations:

Parents,

As we mentioned during our Open House, our 4th graders are responsible for 5 book reports this school year. Two are done in school and three are done at home. Due to the fact that each student is participating in the “Book Costume Parade,” we decided to make that one of the two in school book reports. The three at-home book reports are due on the following days:

Monday, November 28th (Fiction)

Monday, January30th (Nonfiction or Literary Nonfiction)

Monday, March 27th (Award Winner)

Attached are two creative book report ideas that your child can choose to do (Bag of Chips Report, Paper Bag Report). Also, below are some links that will provide ideas for creative book reports as well:

Here is the rubric that outlines our expectations for the 1st and 3rd book reports: (The second report is nonfiction and will have a few differences within the rubric).
