We are pleased to announce a Call for Papers for the European DSP Education and Research Symposium (EDERS-2004), to be held as part of the Texas Instruments Developers Conference at the Hilton Hotel, Birmingham, UK, on the 16th November 2004.

The European DSP Education and Research Symposium is an IEEE co-sponsored event for DSP Educators, Researchers, and Third-Party Developers from around the world to share advances in the field of digital signal processing. Submitted papers should describe in detail the use of a latest TMS320 DSP (C6000, C5000 and C2000 families) in a signal processing application and may cover single or multiple research projects, or a teaching activity.

An extended abstract should be written in English and submitted, by email, preferably as a .PDF or Microsoft Word document by the 28th June 2004 to Frances Parr (). It should be no longer than two pages, and include the author's name, address, phone and fax numbers and e-mail address. Authors will be notified of acceptance of their paper by the 31st July 2004, following assessment by a panel of lecturers recognised as TI DSP Experts.

Papers will be selected for presentation in one of two ways: Formal Presentation or Poster Session. Completed camera-ready manuscripts are due by the 30th September 2004.

All papers accepted for presentation will appear in the Symposium Proceedings and may also appear in other TI publications.
