PIVOTAL MOMENTS

> The Islanders were held scoreless for the first 6:05 of the game. Defense helped the Blue and Green keep the deficit close, before Dalesia Booth scored six straight to pull back within one.

> The Islanders never allowed the Lady Demons to grow the lead to larger than five in the first half.

> Corpus Christi opened the third quarter by going on a 20-3 run, eventually outscoring the Lady Demons 22-8 in the period. The 14-point scoring advantage was the largest in a third quarter this season.

> Northwestern State cut a 12-point lead down to four with a little more than six minutes to play in the fourth.

> Kassie Jones responded by scoring five points, en route to a 17-10 run to finish the contest.

> Davis’ 11 rebounds tied for the second most in a tournament game in program history.

> Brittany Mbamalu pulled within four of breaking the all-time 3-point record on the Island, after going 1-of-6 from the perimeter.

> Mbamalu and Davis matched each other with four assists.

> Ashanti Plummer rejected three shots and nearly finished with a double-double, racking up 8 points and nine rebounds.

> The Blue and Green grew its series lead to 9-5 over the Lady Demons and 2-0 in tournament play.
