Testing, Measurement and Protection Engineer in EETC (Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company) since June 2009 till now.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ø  To keep the protection system of Transmission in perfect working condition.

Ø  Attend all types of faults in protection and control circuit of HV equipments.

Ø  To carryout maintenance as per maintenance program.

Ø  Responsible for commissioning of new substations, new schemes safely and satisfactorily.

Ø  To calibrate monitoring equipment like voltage regulator, frequency relays etc;

Ø  Take decisions at site for modifications, changing of relay settings etc. on emergency.

Ø  To carryout fault analysis and relay settings calculations.

Ø  Defect clearance inspection at site and co-ordination with consultants and contractors.

2. Dalangat substation 66/11 KV:

Ø  Changing of protection relay (MICOM P441-RET541)& testing it.

Ø  Changing of six HV C.Bs with ABB SF6 C.B.

Ø  Commissioning of Power transformer 66/11 KV (CT,CB & isolator).

Ø  Stability test for (transformer 66/11 KV).

Ø  Changing Medium Voltage panels (11kV)& testing it.

Ø  Commissioning of NOKIA power factor correction panels.

Ø  Commissioning and programming ABB (ANRTAL), Genius Energy ( EDMI) and INDIGO meter.

3. New Shubrakhet substation 66/11 KV (Siemens):

Ø  Commissioning of protection relay (7SA610-7UT12)& testing it.

Ø  Testing for CT, VT ,CB and isolator.

Ø  Stability test for (transformer 7UT12- Bus Bar 7SS522 ).

Ø  Control & interlock testing.

4. Etay El-baroud substation 220/66/11 KV (Siemens):

Ø Commissioning of GIS Current transformers for ten 220 KV feeders.

Ø  Changing of protection relay (MICOM P442) for ten 220 KV feeders.

Ø  Changing of protection relay (MICOM P441) for ten 66 KV feeders.

Ø  Commissioning of 4 Power transformer 66/11KV (CT,CB & isolator).

Ø  11 KV EGEMAC and EMAS panels testing.

Ø  Commissioning of SIEMENS power factor correction panels.
