Well-established Valve Company with offices in
Oklahoma and Nebraska seeking experienced field sales
Experience required in INDUSTRIAL PRODUCT and SERVICE sales and sales management.
We want a professional of high character, industry experience, and proven track record in the technical sales area selling to engineers and technical positions. This position requires a 4-year technical degree, strong in leadership, communication, writing
and computer skills. This is a hands-on position for someone comfortable in a small to medium size business working “in the trenches” with the customers and the team.

Job Details

·  Collaborate with management team in establishing realistic sales goals

·  Perform sales activities on major accounts and negotiate sales price and discounts in consultation with executive management and sales staff

·  Motivate, counsel, discipline, develop skills & product knowledge of sales team, plan, monitor, appraise job performance and results

·  Travel to factory sales meeting/training schools as required

·  Conduct regular lunch and learns

·  Ensure guidelines are met, policies are followed, expenses controlled

·  Monitor performance by establishing a system of reporting, communicating, enforcing accountability, meeting weekly with salesmen

·  Personally observe performance of sales reps in the field on a regular basis, including those at remote locations

·  Organize and schedule visits and sales calls with factory reps

·  Ensure customer satisfaction order/contract compliance

·  Implement procedures to review and renew customer contracts and special pricing agreements in advance of expiration dates

·  Keep up to date with products and competitors

·  Educate sales team by establishing

programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales growth, sales of emerging products and multiproduct sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support

·  Collaborate with executive management to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses

·  Oversight of and participation in creation of quotes

Experience

·  7+ years related industry experience

Education

·  4-year technical engineering degree

Qualifications

·  Must be able to work, travel and lodge in Non Smoking Environment

·  Must be able to fulfill all US employment qualifications

·  Pass physical and random drug testing

·  Clean DMV & Valid driver’s license

·  Reside within 30 miles of job location (no exceptions)
