TerraNova/SuperaTeacher Reminders (Italicized info should be changed per campus test plan)

  • The TerraNova/Supera test will be administered Tuesday, October 26 and Wednesday, October 27.
  • Campus Make-Up testing will occur Thursday October 28.
  • Some students will be pulled based on IEP for small group testing. Review attachment

Administering the test

  • Testing materials may be picked up at 7:00 AM in the test center
  • Cover print and bulletins which might aid the student during testing.
  • Students must complete test(s) within the allocated time. Do not allow students to work untimed on timed test, nor allow students to work on a section of the test other than the one being administered. If a student comes in after a section has begun, they will need to wait until the next section.Social Studies and Science will NOT be administered.
  • Review slides 9 and 10 of PPT for students without identifying barcode labels.
  • Testing materials must be locked in a secure location. If you do not have a cabinet or place to lock your material, please let test coordinator know.
  • Directions for administering the test begin on page 23 of your test administrator manual.
  • Do not allow students to use reference material or textbooks.
  • DO NOT RANDOMLY PASS OUT BOOKS. Books are assigned by labels.
  • Instructions should be read verbatim
  • Testing materials will be collected each day. On the final day, please alphabetize books, and complete Group Information Sheet per instructions on slide 11 of PPT

  • Count books to ensure you have the appropriate number.
  • Turn in your absentee sheet & seating chart for the day
  • Return everything in your bin for day 2 testing.

  • Place answer books of students who need make-up testing under your absent sheet.
  • Verify that student data is correct.
  • Count books to ensure you have the appropriate number.
  • Turn in your testing administrator manual
  • Complete a Group Information Sheet (remember you need a separate GIS for TerraNova, Supera, and below grade level testers.
