1. All letters should be put on District letterhead.
2. Make sure only the appropriate individuals are cc’d (i.e., CAO, the CTU representative, etc.).
3. The best method of delivery is Hand Delivery. Personal service to the employee gives you the opportunity to acquire the employee’s signature.
4. The Board must approve before you specify the days the suspension is to be served or termination is effected.
