The inspected company should send a copy of this letter to the contact person in the Authority responsible for enforcement.

Following this inspection, we have been asked in application of REACH Annex II points 1.1 and 3.2.4 to provide to the authorities the full registration number of the following material thatwe purchase from your company ([insert name of supplier from the SDS]):

[1]Specific remark for polymers: Because polymers are exempt from registrations under REACH Article 2 (9), this letter should not be used to request from an EU supplier of a polymer substance the full registration numbers of monomer substances or any other substance(s) above 2% weight by weightand chemically bound, that the EU supplier uses to produce the polymer substance.
