Job purpose
· To support the HR & Payroll Systems team in delivering the changes required to the HR Systems resulting from the University’s 10 year Plan.
· Supporting the HR Systems Managers in delivering new systems functionality, upgrades and day to day user support and systems maintenance.
Key accountabilities/primary responsibilities / % Time /
1. / Support in the planning, testing and delivery of the new University Organisational Structure within all HR & Payroll Systems / 35%
2. / Support in the planning and testing of HR systems upgrades, patches and fixes and ensure users are adequately informed and trained ready for delivery. / 25%
3. / Support the further development of HR transactional processes within ServiceNow. / 10%
4. / Support the further development of the University eRecruitment system (Stonefish). / 10%
5. / Support the HR Systems Support Team with day-to-day user issues and problems raised via our ticketing system ServiceNow. / 10%
6. / Ensure all letter and contract templates are maintained in all HR Systems as per business requirements / 10%
Internal and external relationships /
•Liaising with teams and individuals within the Human Resources department, Payroll Department and across Faculties and other Professional Services on a daily basis
•Working closely with software suppliers to ensure systems are fit for purpose,
PERSON SPECIFICATION

Experience of maintaining Organisational structures within HR Systems
Experience of providing a front line systems support to internal customers.
Experience of being involved in testing procedures for system upgrades, maintenance or development work
Good working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, Visio and E-mail. / Experience of using ResourceLink and/or ServiceNow
System admin experience of HR Payroll systems and/or web recruitment software / Application & Interview
Planning and organising / Able to plan and prioritise own workload to ensure deadlines are met. / Interview
Problem solving and initiative / Able to analyse data, identify and solve a range of system queries/problems by reference to established procedures and/or past experience.
Excellent attention to detail.
