Templatefor association members at the IAAF World Champs

Attached is a template for Associations to use to promote athletes named to the Team USA roster for World Outdoors. Associations should promote athletes who live in their Associations, grew up or maybe even went to college in the Association. For most athletes, you can pull biographical information from the USATF bios pages. Generally speaking, information to include is how they did at USATF Outdoors and general career and season highlights if you wish.

In the attachmentare names of USATF staffers for the purpose of examples …these are place holders to give you asense of what it should look like.

Annual Meetingreturnsto Houston 2-6 December

The USATF Annual Meeting returns to the Association's Committee birthplace forty years ago at the Houston Hyatt Regency. The Associations Workshop will be all day on Wednesday, 2 December, with the general opening sessionthe afternoon of Thursday, 3 December concluding with the closing Session Sunday morning. Updated National Office Contact Sheet

Regarding Sanctions-From Sarah Austin: Please be advised that Jerilyn Zeigler is no longer with USATF. Our customer service team will continue to address your sanction questions and assist with the day-to-day sanction operations; however, the management of the sanction process will be reoriented to the Legal Department in conjunction with USATF’s overall insurance programs. We thank you, in advance, for your patience as we make this transition. Should you require sanctions assistance, please send an email r call the office to speak to one of our customer service representatives at317-261-0500. We will keep you apprised of updated information once this transition has been completed.

Coaching Education 2016 Level 1 School Notification

​Attached is a letter from Caching Education providing associations first opportunity on scheduling 2016Level 1 Schools​. CE Liaison Lauren Gonzalez would like all responses by 30 September. CEwill ask all regional coordinators and school directors to follow up with the association CE person as a courtesy when the school is approved.
